Albertha Johnson was received into eternal life on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Jackson Memorial
Hospital, Miami, FL. where she peacefully transitioned this life amongst family to be with her Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
Albertha was born September 6, 1954, in Gettysburg, PA. to the late William Peterson and Sarah
Wright. Albertha, lovingly known as "PeeWee" was raised in Pompano Beach, FL. surrounded by
family, love, and a strong sense of community. In 1972, she graduated from Blanche Ely High School,
and married her high school sweetheart Isaiah Spicy Sr. "PeeWee" dedicated her life to raising her four
children and creating a warm loving home filled with cherished memories. After her children became
of age, she began a career in the retail industry and retired in 2020. Her ability to balance family, and
her work life was a testament to her strength.
On August 12, 1994, Albertha married the love of her life Robert Johnson; together they built a life
filled with laughter and loving memories for over 30 years. Albertha was a dedicated wife, mother, and
grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved crafting and cooking. "PeeWee"
could fry chicken like no other. Her fun-loving spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, she never
met a stranger.
