Alisa "Lisa" Octavia Taylor was born on May 3, 1985, to the late Melaine Taylor and Gregory Hunter. Lisa was the last girl born to Melaine and Gregory. Lisa was supportive, dramatic, and the life of any party.

Lisa began her educational career in Miami Dade County Public Schools, graduating from the illustrious Miami Northwestern Senior High School, Class of 2003. Lisa then went on to receive her AA degree in Criminal Justice; she chose her love for criminal justice as her career choice. Lisa's true passion was securing the safety of the city that she loved and that raised her.

On November 6, 2014, Lisa was reborn; that was the day she gave birth to the love of her life, her purpose for living: her son Malik. With the birth of her son Malik, Lisa began seeing the world through another set of eyes: through Malik's eyes. This caused her to strive to shield him from the ugliness of the world. Showering him with all the love inside of her, Lisa gave Malik the world and if she could have, Lisa would have created a new element of oxygen, just so Malik can have his own air to breathe.

Lisa was as supportive as they come. Any new business being started, any food sale, any new whatever you did; just know that Lisa was going to support you and get others to do the same. Lisa was always the life of the party. Sometimes, she was not even invited, but by the time she left, she would have spoken to more than half, if not, all the people there, and would have made several trips to both the food table and the dance floor. Lisa was known for her dancing (non-dancing skills).

On December 21, 2024, early in the morning, our Heavenly Father called Lisa home to be back by his side
