Obituary

On May 28, 1968, Annette Denise Everett was born to Brother William E. Everett and Mother Retha B.
Carter Everett. Annette was the fourth of seven children and the second oldest girl born to this union.
At an early age, Annette gave her life to God. She attended the Highway Church of the Apostle Faith
for many years.

In the 1990s, Annette married Freddie Johnson, Jr. and the couple enjoyed many good years together.
Annette was a great wife and a loving mother to her two children Corinthia and Freddie, III.
Annette was a determined and ambitious woman who knew exactly what she wanted and always had a
plan. She became a nurse at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and worked for over 20 years
until she retired. After retirement, she lived a spiritual, fulfilling and happy life, spending time with her
children and grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be deeply missed.

On the night of January 5, 2025, God called Annette Denise Everett Johnson home to eternal rest, and
she peacefully transitioned from this life. She was preceded in death by her father Brother William E.
Everett and brother James Everett.
