Annie L. Avant was born on March 24, 1995, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida to Pamela Avant.  She grew up in Miami and attended Miami-Dade County Public Schools, to include Henry E. Reeves Elementary, Charles Drew Middle School, and Miami Northwestern Senior High School. While in school, Annie was a proud member of MNW Marching Band. After high school, Annie entered the workforce. She worked at McDonalds as an Assistant Manager and most recently, she worked in the childcare field, as she loved children.

Annie was baptized at House of God Miracle Temple where she attended frequently as a little girl with her grandmother.

Today, as we remember Annie, we remember her beautiful smile and great sense of humor. She was full of life.

On December 7, 2023, Annie L.D. Avant departed this life. She is reunited with her mother, Pamela Avant and her grandmother Earlene Avant, both of whom preceded her in death.
