Arnette L. Pasley Jr. was born on July 22, 1969, in Miami, Florida to the late Arnette L. Pasley Sr. and Doris V. Gallimore Pasley. He was educated in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Arnette was employed in the restaurant industry before he became ill.

In April of 1993, Arnette married Lesia Seymore. The couple was together for three years, and were blessed with one son, Arnette L. Pasley III. Later in 2002, Arnette met and fell in love with Joyce Kemp. The couple were joined in holy matrimony on July 24, 2002, and shared a great life for sixteen years. Even though they divorced in 2018, Arnette and Joyce remain closely connected, and it was obvious the love they both shared by how their eyes would light up when they saw each other.

Arnette joined New Life Family Worship Center in 2000, then under the leadership of the late Apostle Barbara Boyce. In 2017, Arnette submitted under new leadership of Pastor/Prophet Markell Mckoy and the ministry name changed to New Life Teach Ministry. Arnette L. Pasley Jr. was licensed and ordained as Head Deacon, and he fulfilled his leadership role up until his passing.

Today as we celebrate Deacon Arnette's life, we remember the love he had for his family and friends, and he showed it by the constant phone calls he made on a daily basis. His favorite pastimes were watching old TV shows such as "Good Times", "Martin", and Old Western shows.
