Obituary

Benjamin Hill was born on July 10, 1974. The first child of Bennie and Earnestine Walker Hill in Miami, Florida.

Benjamin's early years were shaped within the Miami-Dade Public School System, where he attended both Miami Central High School and North Miami Beach Senior High School. His journey of learning continued, and he later earned his GED from South Florida International Academy, a testament to his perseverance and determination.

With a heart eager to grow and hands ready to create, Benjamin pursued his passion at Miami Lakes Technical School and Florida Job Corps, where he earned certificates in Culinary Arts from both institutions, graduating with honors. Ever striving for excellence, he also attended the Sullivan and Cogliano Training Center, where he proudly obtained his certification as an Office Professional.

Benjamin found joy in the open road, where his love for driving became both his passion and his purpose. He traveled far and wide as a long-distance driver, delivering vehicles across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. His journey of service continued in many roles; serving as a bus aide for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, working with Florida Power &  Light Field Collections, assisting as a Florida toll collector, and providing security for Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

In every path he took, Benjamin carried dedication, quiet strength, and a willingness to serve. Benjamin's deep love and reverence for his family guided him, shaping him into a man of integrity, strength, and steadfast perseverance. Rooted in faith, his gentle spirit and abiding kindness reflected God's grace, touching the lives of all who crossed his path. With a servant's heart, he was ever willing to extend a helping hand, offering compassion, comfort, and support to anyone in need.

"...you are the source of my strength; you are the strength of my life, I lift my hands in total praise to YOU..."

On May 27th, he softly turned to his side, as if surrendering to a quiet dream, and without warning, answered God's tender call. He leaves us with hearts and hands uplifted in gratitude, praising God for the precious gift of sharing in his love and his life.

...Amen, Amen, AMEN.
