Obituary

In the Summer of 2017, Yves Momplaisir and Janette Sainvil along with their families excitedly awaited the arrival of their beautiful bundle of joy.  On June 30, 2017, God granted them an Angel, and they named her Betty Momplaisir. She was beautiful, perfect, and a special gift from God.Betty was born Autistic and non-verbal, but she was just like any other seven year girl, she was happy and loved to play. Betty enjoyed playing with puzzles and building blocks. She attended Specialized Pediatric Care, where she loved her Teachers and they loved her as well. Betty enjoyed playing outdoors and on the playground and in 2023, she earned certificates from the Special Olympics. Betty was our Princess and just like the Butterfly she brought joy, happiness, and optimism to those around her. Every day of her life, she lived with an inner strength, power and determination that was given by God.On November 18, 2024, Betty earned her final reward, to be with her Heavenly Father. Although her life was short, Betty touched the lives of many loved ones. She was precious and adored by all who knew her. Betty leaves behind cherished memories to her parents, Yves Momplaisir and Janette Sainvil, siblings, Francel Belony, Emily Belony, and Rashard Momplaisir; grandparents, Jean Momplaisir and Marie Sainvil; uncles: Mark Sainvil, Davon Sainvil and Joshua Sainvil; other family members: the Momplaisir family, Tessia, the Thelismon family, the Saninvil family, the Nelson family, the Thervil family, the Belizaire family, the William family, the Fleurissaint family, the Prosper family, and her teachers and friends from Specialized Pediatric Care. Our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were graced with her beautiful presence.
