BETTYE JEAN ROBY

Bettye Jean Roby was born June 6, 1943, to the late Mr. Walter Roby and Mrs. Phyllis Rabb-Carr. She was the 4th child and the second daughter born to that union.

Bettye was educated in West Point, Mississippi, and graduated from Fifth Street Junior/Senior High School. She eventually moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked until she retired from Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Today, as we remember Bettye, affectionately, we remember her loving to play bingo and sew with friends. She loved ceramics and just hanging out with family and friends. She especially loved her weekly visits from her niece, Louise.

We shall remember the smiles, endless conversations, and life experiences she talked about so graciously.

On February 27, 2025, Bettye departed this life and gained her wings
