Bishop Glenn
Eldon Forshee Sr.
Jan 1, 1959 — May 29, 2024
A Legacy of Faith and Family: Remembering Bishop Glenn Eldon Forshee, Sr.
Bishop Glenn E. Forshee, Sr. the beloved Father, shepherd, and visionary leader of Next Level
Praise and Worship Center, has departed this earth, leaving behind a LEGACY of faith, love, and
dedicated service to all. Born on January 1, 1959, and entering his heavenly home on May 29,
2024, at 3:16 a.m., his life was a testament to God's grace, reflecting the profound message of
John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever
believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
"DON'T DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS"
Glenn was born to parents William "Bill" Forshee and Jamie Young, along with his four siblings.
As a child, he struggled with his speech, making it challenging for him to form simple sentences.
However, after undergoing a small medical procedure, he began to overcome these difficulties,
marking the start of his destiny to use his voice as "God's Preacher." Indeed, many are called,
but few are chosen. Glenn was called to ministry at the tender age of 15 and under the
leadership of Bishop B. F. Carter, gave his life to Christ on May 08, 1974 at Bethel Miracle Revival
Fellowship, Inc. International & Pentecostal Holiness Church. In that same year, he faced
profound personal loss early in life when his father and eldest brother were lost at sea on a
fishing trip. Despite this immense loss, he remained steadfast in his faith, guided by the word of
God and his beloved mother, Jamie's, teachings. It was then that his work ethic developed as he
took over his father's lawn care business to support his family.
"FAMILY IS EVERYTHING"
During this formative period, he met the love of his life, Cheryl Ann Bell. In 1978, Glenn
married Cheryl at the tender age of 19. He relocated from Goulds, Florida, to her
hometown of Carol City, Florida where they purchased their forever home. It was there
that their family grew and thrived with the blessing of ten beautiful children. Glenn was
passionately devoted to Cheryl, proudly and openly expressing his sweet affection for, as
he would say "His Lady, His Love, His Life, His Beautiful Wife: Cheryl Ann." Their nearly
50-year love story serves as an inspiration to all who have been privileged to witness it.
Glenn took immense pride in providing for his wife and children, often working late into
the night yet always finding time to attend numerous karate matches, basketball and
football games, and graduations. His dedication to his family was unparalleled; as they
grew in numbers, so did the need for more space. The Lord gave Glenn a vision to use his
God given hands and talents to expand his home, showcasing his love and commitment
towards them.
"PEOPLE LOVE ME"
"Mr. Glenn" was the true definition of a "Renaissance Man." You name it, he did it! His
charismatic and funny personality endeared him to everyone he met. Known for his stylish flair
and magnetic presence, he could light up any room with his warmth, wisdom and charm.
People loved him for his genuine care, humor, and ability to connect with others on a level
beyond the surface. He had the keen ability of turning any room into a pulpit, transforming lives
through every encounter, including those had in his dental office.
"DENTISTRY IS MY MINISTRY"
Being naturally gifted with his hands, Glenn earned a degree in dental technology. It was under
the mentorship of Dr. Cecil Graham, DDS in which he gained clinical and practical knowledge in
the field of dentistry. It wasn't long before the good doctor noticed Glenn's work ethic, staying
late to earn extra money by sweeping and mopping the floors. Through continued education
and years of extensive expertise, he later established Teeth R Us Dental. Glenn was known for
his quality and signature work. His career in dentistry was marked by his sincerity and passion
for helping others. In 2000, he founded Teeth "R" US Dental Laboratory and later gifted Teeth
"R" Us Dental Design Center in 2011 as a token of his love for his sweetheart, Cheryl. Glenn
continued to provide affordable dental care to those in need. One way or another, you were
sure to leave with a new smile and your spirit lifted. Despite his professional success, Bishop
Forshee's true passion was his love for ministry.
"JESUS IS LORD"
Above all, Bishop Forshee loved the Lord with all his soul. His integrity, wisdom, and honor were
evident to all who knew him. A man of profound faith, he captivated congregations with his tent
revivals and sermons, especially those preached at his very first church, New Life Ministries. He
was a demonstrative preacher, bringing the gospel to life with memorable messages like
"Pimpin Preacher," and "Pinocchio Prophet," to name a few. His commitment to salvation was
unwavering, placing the spiritual well-being of his congregation above all else.
Bishop Forshee's perseverance and resilience in the face of life's challenges equipped him with
invaluable life lessons, which he generously shared to encourage others. His leadership
extended beyond his professional accomplishments, embodying a life of service, faith, and
unwavering love for his family.
