Obituary

Brendette Eileen Lovett was born November 6, 1959 to Flue and Willa Lovett in Miami, Florida.  She began her early education at Gladeview Elementary, Madison Junior High School, and then on to Miami Jackson Senior High, where she graduated with the class of 1977.  After high school, Brendette continued her education at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. While at Stillman, Brendette became affiliated with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.Brendette was a member of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she spent many years as Church Secretary/Clerk. She also served as a trustee.

After leaving New Shiloh, she joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Miami Gardens, Florida, under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Arthur Jackson. There she served as an Administrator. She then became a member of Peaceful Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Dr. C. P. Preston, Jr.Brendette was also an entrepreneur. She and her late brother Michael were owners of Lovett's Top Quality Limousine Service and Lovett's Retirement Home. Brenda, as she was affectionately called, had a huge love for people.

She would help others, even if it meant hurting herself. She was stylish and most would consider her a fashionista! She had a great love for St. John's Women Suits and clothing with Christian Louboutin "Red Bottom"  shoes. The casino was also a favorite pastime for Brenda. I know she is walking around Heaven. In those five-inch-tall heels. Brenda was also a member of Black Divas on Wheels. She loved her biking community so much. The yearly Christmas parties at her house were something that everyone looked forward to.On May 6, 2024, Bernadette Eileen Lovett quietly answered her Master's call and peacefully passed away.
