Obituary

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither
the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Carolyn Ogburn Anderson was born in Montezuma, Georgia on April 1, 1940 to the late Johnny Ogburn and Mandy McCants-Ogburn of Montezuma, Georgia.

During her formative years, she attended the historic Macon County Training School in Montezuma, GA. and participated in many school activities.

As a young woman Carolyn, along with her young son, Reggie, moved to Miami in 1964 to begin a new life. Shortly after arriving, Carolyn began working and held various jobs, to support herself and her son.

In 1971 Carolyn met and married Eddie Anderson (deceased). To their union, their daughter, Lori A. Anderson was born. Carolyn enjoyed her friends, but more importantly, she enjoyed and loved her family. She never missed an opportunity to "hit the road" to Georgia in order to visit her family and build memories.

Carolyn was a faithful member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Miami, Florida, where she served faithfully as an Usher, until her health prevented her from making the long drive.
