Obituary

Deirdre Lynne Bromell was born on April 9th, 1967, in Miami, Florida to Pastor Bertha Davis and the late Pastor James Davis, Sr. She was their first child of four children.

Her education started at Brentwood Elementary School and moved on to Carol City Junior High, finishing grade school at Miami Carol City Senior High School. She completed her secondary education at Sheraton Technical School, where she specialized in Administrative Services and Human Resources.

Deirdre, who was affectionately called 'Dee' or 'Deidra', was born with a strong work ethic. Dee carried that work ethic with her throughout her life. She was eager to work from a young age. She was so determined that at 15 years old, she told the manager of Popeyes that she was of legal age to work.  Dee got her first job working at Popeyes. Although she was a great worker, her job was short-lived when they found out her age. This speaks to her tenacity and creativity to get the job done! Deirdre successfully went on to work at several well-known companies providing great service for years, namely, Motorola, DHL Logistics, and Brandsmart Corporate.

Deirdre loved the Lord and was a faithful member of 93rd Street Community Baptist Church, where she attended until she was no longer able.

Dee gained many friends along the way. She prided herself on being there and being a listening ear to many. She loved and gave people who were in need of her wisdom and sustenance along the way.

Dee treasured her mother and siblings immensely. Although she had no children of her own, she thoroughly enjoyed being an Aunt. Dee loved and doted on her niece and nephews every chance she was afforded. She took joy in showing up for them. They loved her so much.
