Clark

In Loving Memory of Delina L. Clark
It is with deep love and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Delina L. Clark, a strong, beautiful, and remarkable woman whose presence brought strength, love, wisdom, and comfort to all who were blessed to know her.
Delina was a woman who loved deeply and gave freely. She carried herself with the strength of a woman who had faced life’s challenges with courage, grace, and determination. She was a protector, a nurturer, a confidant, and a source of inspiration to the people she loved.
Her life was a testament to the strength of a Black woman—strong enough to endure, wise enough to teach, compassionate enough to love, and courageous enough to keep moving forward. She may have carried many burdens, but she never allowed them to diminish the love she had for her family and those closest to her.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Delina’s greatest legacy is not something that can be placed in a photograph or written on a piece of paper. Her greatest legacy lives within the people she loved.
A Strong Black Woman
She was a woman of strength, With love deep within her soul. She stood tall through every storm, And never let the world take her glow.
She carried the wisdom of generations, The courage of those who came before. She gave love without counting the cost, And opened her heart a little more.
She was a mother, a sister, a friend, A shoulder when life became too hard. She gave pieces of herself to others, And loved each one with all her heart.
Though her hands we can no longer hold, And her voice we can no longer hear, The love she planted in our hearts Will remain forever near.
For a strong Black woman never truly leaves— Her strength becomes the strength we carry. Her lessons become the words we remember, And her love becomes the light that guides us.
So when you miss her, speak her name. When you hurt, remember her smile. When life becomes difficult, stand tall, And carry her strength another mile.
For Delina’s journey may have ended, But the love she gave will never die. She lives in every heart she touched, In every memory, every tear, every smile.
Rest peacefully, Delina. Your work here is done. Your love remains. Your strength remains. And through the people you loved, a part of you will live on forever.
Delina L. Clark will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
