Denise Rose Haynes was a vibrant soul born on October 21, 1959, in Miami, Florida, to her loving parents who preceded her in death Freddie and Bonzola Haynes. From her early years, Denise, fondly nicknamed "Niecey" exuded a delightful sense of humor that endeared her to many. Her educational journey began at Allapattah Elementary and Middle School, followed by Miami Jackson Senior High, where she proudly represented her school as a cheerleader and a loyal Miami Jackson General.Driven by her innate desire to assist others, Denise embarked on a career path marked by compassion and dedication. She commenced her professional journey as a security guard for the state of Florida, later obtaining her CNA license. This credential enabled her to extend her support to the elderly and ailing, both in nursing homes and hospitals. She worked at North Shore Nursing Home and Palm Springs General Hospital. Her compassionate nature found a fulfilling outlet at Camillus House, where she devoted herself to aiding the less fortunate.However, Denise's commitment to service didn't end there. She found fulfillment in her role as a custodian with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, commencing part-time at Edison Park Elem., Phyllis Ruth Miller Elem. Denise's industrious spirit led her to become full-time at various schools beginning at Phyillis Wheatley, Golden Glades Elem. and Brownsville Middle School. Her genuine affection for children shone through in her work, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless young students. After years of dedicated service, Denise retired from Brownsville Middle, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, humor, and unwavering dedication to helping others. Even in retirement, Denise's love for children continued to shine brightly as she dedicated her time to working part-time at Little Bethelites Preschool. Her unwavering affection for children was not just a profession but a genuine passion that fueled her every day.As a mother, Denise extended her nurturing love not only to her own children and grandchildren but also to her siblings. Her love knew no bounds, and her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Denise's vibrant personality was characterized by her outspoken nature, yet beneath her candid exterior lay a heart of pure gold.Denise's captivating spirit extended beyond her work and her faith; she also found joy in simple pleasures and lively pursuits. She loved to eat and her favorite was a T-Bone steak. During her spare time, she had a love for knitting. Denise had a zest for dancing and she was the life of any party. Christian WalkFrom her earliest years, Denise was nurtured in the faith by her devoted parents, who imparted to her the significance of serving the Lord. Under their guidance, she found her spiritual home at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, where she became a member at a tender age, under the leadership of Rev. McKiever, Rev. Wade, later Rev. J. W. Copper, and presently Rev. Dr. C.A. Ivery. Throughout her upbringing, Denise actively engaged in the various ministries of the church, including the Junior Choir and the Usher Board, while also participating eagerly in Sunday School. As she transitioned into young adulthood, her commitment to serving the Lord only deepened. She continued her journey of faith by lending her voice to the choir, using her gift of song to uplift and inspire others in worship.Denise's relationship with the Lord was not merely a matter of tradition or obligation; it was the cornerstone of her life. Her passion for God was evident in her fervent prayers and her unwavering desire to hear His voice. Guided by her faith, Denise allowed the Lord to illuminate her path, never losing sight of His presence in every aspect of her life. Denise was a powerful pray warrior!

The Last ChapterOn Friday, April 19, 2024, at 4:03 A.M., the Master was walking in the garden of life and saw a rare ROSE had reached a stage of perfection. He noticed this ROSE displayed the beauty of love, peace, empathy, compassion, and humility, the qualities in which His eternal place is decorated. So, God picked this rare bud from her earthly meadow and placed her amongst His crowned jewels in Heaven. Denise was preceded in death by her brother Randolph McPherson, her sister Freddie Doris Miller, Aunt Alice Fitzman, and Nephew Jimmy Dekle. Left to cherish her legacy of love, humility, empathy, and compassion, are her Six Loving Children: Dr. Shantell Haynes-Cruz Leon (Denis), Dasiaquan Haynes, Denieshia Haynes, Davonte Williams, Shahmad Ryals, and Shawntranese Haynes. Adorable Grandchildren: Torrin "China" Palmer Jr., Dysiah Bell, Tai Haynes, Isaiah Williams, Destini Williams, Sa'Niya Haynes, Xavier Haynes, Dakota Harris, Kristina Bentley, Logan Harris, London Harris, and Joel "JoJo" Brown. Sisters: Gwendolyn Haynes-Evans and Angela Haynes-Smith Brothers: James McPherson of Metter, GA., Charlie Haynes (Yvonne) of Fremont, CA. Nieces: Stacey Braddy, Anaiya Turner, Destini Jacobs, Alexandria Smith, Aleah Smith, Camille Bailey (Rashad), Charnice Haynes, Cynthia Singletary, Linda Singletary, and Valarie Singletary. Nephews: Curtis Wilkerson, Jonathan Braddy, Tavares Miller (Tavius), Roddy D. Evans, Michael Sweeting Jr., and Ronald Singletary. Great Nieces: LaQuaecia Tarver-Dunn, Destini Jacobs, Chloe Bailey, and Charleigh Bailey. Great Nephews: Tavares "TJ" Miller Jr., Tyler Miller, Akeem Burns, Brandon Anderson, and Braéon Anderson.
