Earnestine Harvey was born on December 9, 1941, to Jesse Mae and Otha Brown, Sr. in Greenwood, Mississippi.In 1964, as a young woman, Earnestine relocated to Miami, Florida where she called home for the rest of her days.Navigating her way through life, Earnestine learned about Avon and became an Independent Salesperson in 1972. She quickly rose up the ladder to become a District Sales Manager.Also in 1972, Earnestine met Mr. John Harvey. They later married in 1989. The couple enjoyed spending time together, especially attending church, traveling and going fishing. Earnestine also enjoyed listening to music, sewing, and baking.In 1979, Earnestine began her career with United States Customs. She dedicated 29 years to Customs, before retiring in 2008.In 1984, Earnestine joined Straightway Baptist Church, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Willie Everett Thomas. In 2002, she moved her membership to New Birth Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Victor T. Curry. There, she served as a Deaconess. Ernestine enjoyed serving and attending church along with her husband, Mr. Harvey.On September 22, 2024, Earnestine Harvey transitioned from this life. She is survived by her husband, John Harvey, five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, one step daughter-in-law, three stepsons, and a host of nieces and nephews.
