"Some people bring a light so bright to the world, that even when they have gone, the light remains."

Illustrious Deputy Grand Master Eddie Randle, Jr. was that light. He was a man of integrity and service, he was committed to his family and dedicated to the life of masonry. In 2010, Illustrious D.G.M. Eddie Randle, Jr., began his masonic journey with the Joshua Lodge #5, working under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Cypress Grand Lodge, AF & AM. It was a journey he was honored to be a part of and one we celebrate today. Illustrious D.G.M. Eddie Randle, Jr. gave his time and tireless efforts to the community through his masonic affiliations. Whether he was offering leadership within the masonic realm, serving as the 'grill master' for various gatherings or sharing a smile and toy with a child during the holiday season, you could always count on Illustrious D.G.M. Randle being there to lend a hand. His masonic service and affiliations are countless, and include but are not limited to the following:

Member of Joshua Lodge #5

Member of Enlancer Chapter #1 of Royal Arch Masons

Member of Rudolph D. Lane Lodge of Perfection

Member of Husher Barnett Knights Templar

Member of Malachi Consistory

Member of Rahman Temple #29, AAONMS

Worshipful Master of Integrity Lodge #3

Worthy Patron of Lighthouse Chapter #2

He believed in service and quality leadership and was proud to hold offices within these lodges. He often acknowledged the great leadership under which he served and was very proud of all his masonic affiliations.

In 2022, in Baltimore, Maryland, he received his final degree as the Inspector General - 33rd degree designation and most recently, in August 2023, he was duly elected to serve as the Illustrious Deputy Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Cypress Grand Lodge, where the Honorable Kenneth B. Ivery, serves a Grand Master.

Sadly, on December 23, 2023, Illustrious D.G.M. Eddie Randle, Jr. departed from this life. Although he is physically not with us, his memory is the light that will forever remain. His work, efforts, and service to masonry were intentional. He was dedicated, hard-working, and a friend to many. The memories he made and the times he shared will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.  Rest Well Sir! "My brother, you have reached that undiscovered country from whose born, no traveler has ever returned."
