Eunice S. Johnson, born on October 25, 1946, to the late Marion and Eric Johnson. Raised in the vibrant community of Miami, Eunice was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington Senior High School, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to service, compassion, and love for others.Eunice, a devoted and compassionate individual, spent her adult life lovingly caring for others in her role as a patient care specialist. With unwavering dedication, she touched the lives of countless patients during her career, offering not only her expertise but a comforting presence. Eunice retired from Mount Sinai Hospital in 2020 after many years of service, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that will be remembered by all who knew her.From a young age, Eunice accepted Christ into her heart, and her deep faith became a guiding force throughout her life. She shared the love of God with everyone she met, offering kindness, support, and encouragement to all who crossed her path. Eunice's unwavering faith was evident not only in her words but in the way she lived her life.Eunice loved to travel especially around the world and lived life to the fullest. On Wednesday January 29, 2025, God called her home. 'His will was done" As Christians we know that to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21) and that whosever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)Eunice S. Johnson was preceded in death by her beloved parents Marion and Eric, brothers, Leroy and Theodore Johnson, who were a cherished part of her life. She leaves to mourn her memory and celebrate her life, her devoted sisters, Susie and Kathy Johnson, and her brother, Eric Johnson Jr. Eunice's love for her family was boundless, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her nephew, Andre Johnson, nieces, Jenee Johnson Lee and Quateka Cochran, goddaughter Kenisha Adderly and godsons, Mavrikis Phillips and Dedrick Miller. Eunice's legacy will continue through her great niece, Johnisha Donnell, and great nephews, Lafayette Adams, Kamiya and Katova Hill, who will carry her memory forward.
