Reflection of Life

Felipe Martinez was born on May 17, 1970, in Miami, Florida, to the proud parents Felicito and Geraldine Martinez. Felipe, affectionately known as Phil by family and friends, was the youngest of eight children. He was raised in a loving home where he was taught godly values from an early age.

Felipe received his education in the Miami-Dade Public School System. While attending Miami Jackson Senior High School, he was a standout member of the Drill Team. His electrifying moves and leadership energized the crowd, bringing excitement and joy to all who watched.

Felipe was a devoted member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder H.C. Samuels, where he sang in the choir. His family cherished the moments when they could hear him sing praises, using his voice to glorify God.

Felipe's strong faith in God allowed him to confront life's challenges, including his battle with sickle cell disease. Despite this difficult fight, Felipe's physical ability to dance and hype the crowd never waned. His infectious energy and talent brought joy to everyone around him, earning him respect and admiration from both men and women alike.

On May 7, 2025, at 7:10 am, Felipe gained his wings. The gates of heaven opened to receive his soul, welcoming him into eternal peace.
