Freaut Chery
Sr.
Jan 24, 1967 — Mar 8, 2024
A Time to be Born
Mr. Freaut Chery, Sr. was born on January 24, 1967, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Cecile Elia Chery and Francisco Jean Bonny.
A Time to ReflectFreaut Sr. attended school in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti until he migrated to the United States in the mid-1980s. He then entered the Miami-Dade County Public School systems, attending Miami Edison Senior High School. He was on the soccer team and dance team and mastered both skills authentically. His friends like to play soccer with him, and the ladies love to hit the dance floor with him. With that warm, affectionate smile, like his mother, the ladies adored him. Freaut sometimes attended Sunday Mass with his mother at Notre Dame d'Haiti Catholic Church and the Cathedral of St Mary.
Freaut loved spending time with his friends, especially in the City of Little Haiti. At times he was known by many to be a funny jokester, he loved making people laugh.
In the Fall of 1987, he met the mother of his four kids, the lovely, beautiful, and kindhearted Ms. Michelle Moore. The couple was inseparable and loved spending time with their five children, going to the movies, concerts, and dancing. Freaut was always lending a helping hand to others. It did not matter what it was, he was always willing to help. Freaut worked various jobs in Miami, including the Marco Polo Hotel, Altermans Transport Lines Company, Sky Chefs Miami, Classic Motors, and Compass Moving Company, where he met a lot of people. Those people included military officers, movie stars, and athletes of all sports.
