Freddie
Kineard
Aug 31, 1945 — Feb 4, 2025
On February 4, 2025, Freddie Louis Kineard Sr. answered God's call, and his body and soul found peace as the Lord took his hand and led him to his eternal resting place.
Born on August 31, 1945, to Jesse David and Rose Kineard, Freddie was cherished by his Aunt Daisy Seabrook until her passing in 2022. He embraced Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, beginning his spiritual journey at Greater Israel Bethel Baptist Church and later continuing his faith at Victory International Praise and Worship Center.
Freddie received his education in Miami-Dade Public Schools, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1964. After school, he honed his skills as a welder, eventually working for Eastern Airlines, Greenwich Aircraft Company, and Miami-Dade Public School System. Throughout his career, Freddie was often recognized for his dedication and work ethic, earning multiple "Employee of the Month" awards. A talented craftsman, Freddie took pride in his work and later became the proud owner of Kineard Artworld LLC. His exceptional ironwork designs, often imaginative and creative, were showcased in local art museums, as well as residential and commercial landscapes throughout Miami.
In his personal life, Freddie embraced fatherhood when his oldest son Michael was born. He then met the love of his life, Thelma Hayes, in the Brownsville area of Miami. The couple married on June 23, 1966, and together, they raised their family, welcoming sons Freddie Jr. and Vernon, followed by the birth of his daughter, Shakila T. Kineard, who became the apple of his eye. Freddie loved riding bikes, traveling, going to the movies, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Freddie's legacy of love, faith, and craftsmanship will forever be remembered. His family and friends take comfort knowing he has found eternal peace with the Lord.
