It was a beautiful Summer day on July 9, 1974, when Alice Faye Cade and LD McDaniel welcomed
their beautiful baby girl into the world. They named her Gloria Denise Cade. She was the fourth oldest
of eight children born to this union.
Gloria or "Bae" as she was affectionately called, received her education through Miami-Dade County
Public Schools, to include attending South Dade High School.
In the late 1990s, Gloria married Mr. Michael McCray. They enjoyed several years together until his
passing.
Gloria was very family-oriented. Her children and grandchildren were her prize possessions. She was a
great mother who was present and very attentive to the needs of her children. Gloria was a fun-loving
person who enjoyed hosting parties and gathering – anything to bring the family together.
On January 1, 2025, at 12:21AM, Gloria Denise Cade peacefully departed this life.
