James Walden III received the precious gift of life on December 9, 1958, in Miami, Florida. He was born to proud parents James and Albertha Walden II. James completed his high school education in 1976 at Miami Jackson Senior High School and went on to Miami Dade Community College (Downtown). After college, he entered the workforce at Miami-Dade County Water & Sewer Plant, where he worked as a Treatment Plant Operator II for many years. He then retired after 30 years. After many years of enjoying retirement, he returned to what he loved at the City of Hollywood Water and Sewer Plant. After just eight short years,he retired again to spend time with his sons and family.James, affectionately known as "Junebug," loved to read the newspaper, and watch the news and sports. His favorite football team was the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes. His Favorite basketball team was the Miami Heat. James loved to tell jokes. He had an amazing sense of humor,which brought joy, laughter, and smiles to so many people. His beautiful personality captured the hearts of so many people. James spent many years coaching and inspiring many of the youth he came into contact with. He was a father figure to so many of his players.James accepted Christ into his life and lived a life that reflected his faith until his departure. He was an extraordinary person, both internally and externally. He was a loving father, brother, cousin, friend and so much more. He shared a special bond and relationship with each one of his sons. His selfless actsof kindness, love, guidance, support, encouragement, faithfulness, and love for others will truly be missed. On September 25, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL James was called to glory to be with the Lord. He transitioned and gained his heavenly wings.
