On October 7, 1954, a baby boy was born to Johnny Adolphus Davis and Thelma Bethel Davis, in Miami, Florida and they named him Johnny Adolphus Davis, Jr. He grew up with nine siblings; five brothers and four sisters in a home that was full of love. Johnny was known to family and friends as "Jack" and or "46". Johnny or "Jack" and or "46", as he was affectionately known by family and friends, received his education through the Miami-Dade County School System, attending Bethune and Lillie C. Evans Elementary, Dorsey Junior High and Miami Northwestern Senior High. He held several jobs which included working in the restaurant industry. Johnny later began his own maintenance and handyman business. Johnny joined the fellowship of St. Matthews on March 7, 2004, then under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Philip Clarke, Jr.To know Johnny, was to know a caring compassionate man who was full of life. There was never a dull moment being around him. On Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 6:00A.M., which was his mother's birthday, the Lord called Johnny Adolphus Davis, Jr. home to eternal rest and he peacefully transitioned from this life.
