Kelsey
Collier
Sep 24, 1977 — Dec 4, 2023
Kelsey Deron Collier was born on September 24, 1977, in the city of Thomasville, Georgia to Glenda and Ronald Smith. Kelsey or "K" as he was affectionately called grew up in Miami and received his education through Miami-Dade County Public Schools, to include Miami Central Senior High.
Kelsey enjoyed traveling, shopping, listening to music and going to shows, concerts and plays. To know Kelsey was to love him, because he was such an amazing gift to everyone he knew. He touched the lives of countless people and left an indelible mark on every single person he met. He was someone you could call on and depend on, no matter what the time, place, or occasion.
Kelsey grew up in a Christian family and was therefore baptized at an early age. He was a man that took pride in taking care of those he loved, especially his daughter and family. We will always remember Kelsey as a great son, father, uncle and friend.
On December 4, 2023, Kelsey transitioned from this earthly realm to eternal life. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Loretta Reese and sister Ronda Smith.
He leaves cherished memories to his daughter, Bri'Shai Collier, parents: Glenda and Ronald Smith, brothers: Jaron and Tyrone; special friend Theranika Beckham, uncles: Kenneth Collier, Sr. (Shonda), Anthony Collier Sr. (Temetrius), Arnold Smith (Sandra), Jeffrey Smith, Winston Smith, Frank Hagan, Johnny Hagan and Ralph Hagan; aunts: Juanita Zachery, Jesse Canady, April Johnson, Cynthia Mays, Beulah Wright, Ruth Trumpler, Earlene Hall, Linda Merrell, Dorothy Collier and Deborah Henderson; Goddaughters Tiahna Beckham and Briana; friends: Angela Stanton-King, Keandra Hayes, Sonia Frazier and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
