Loryse Lovett-Johnson was born on August 24, 1958, in Miami, Florida to the late Elisha Lovett Sr. and Gloria Williams. She was the last of six children.Loryse received her education through the Miami-Dade County Public School system and graduated from Miami Jackson Senior High, Class of 1976.In the early 1980s, she began working at Winn-Dixie as a Cashier. She found her dream career working at FedEx Shipping Company, where she dedicated 35 years of her life. Loryse was hardworking, dedicated and left an indelible mark on the company and those she worked alongside. Beyond her professional life, Loryse was a passionate aerobic dance instructor. In 1981, Loryse married Charles Johnson. The couple shared a good life together raising three children, until his passing. Years later, Loryse found love again when she met Eddie "Paul" Ellison. The couple was inseparable and in love for over 30 years. Loryse will be remembered for her exceptional work ethic, professional achievements, and hobbies; to include cooking, shopping, working out and being creative with interior decorating. If you knew Loryse, you would know she took great pride in decorating her home and tending to her yard and garden. But, she will also be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering optimism. She lived a life that was full of joy and laughter. Every day, she strived to do all the things that she knew was great for herself and her family, whom she loved so dearly.On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the trumpet of the Lord sounded so clearly for Loryse to come home. She answered her supreme supervisor quickly and quietly succumbed as she was summoned from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her parents Elisha Lovett Sr. and Gloria Williams, and siblings Shirley Hudson, and Sharon Lovett. Loryse leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her
