Obituary

If you are here today that means you're here to celebrate my life. I was born to both parents August 3rd, 2004, from the stories I've heard it was a mess trying to have me, lol. Instantly my mom jumped into mommy mode giving me nothing but the best from the beginning and I mean the best milk, best shampoo, best clothes...best everything! I kind of liked how I was being spoiled by my mommy and daddy especially by my auntie Destiny and my auntie Faline, and here comes the twins messing up the fun but that's when the fun really started. Having brothers was the best thing ever for me, it was almost like we were triplets. You know my momma did the most she made us dress alike, she made us go to the same school, she literally made us do everything together that's why our bond is so tight. I remember us going to New Birth wearing our shirt tucked in with a tie and a face full of Vaseline. Introducing us to God through church and our school was the best thing she could have done. I met a lot of people while attending New Birth, my first cousins and my first best friends which is why today I call them my brothers. Holidays was the best for me seeing my grandma Stephanie, my uncle Dave, my dad, my mom and all my cousins it was the best. It came a time when my dad couldn't be here and my mom tapped into her rough side being a mom and dad at football games, basketball games, parties and I even did karate…. my brothers used to rank me about that. She showed me strength, I never seen her not do something because it was just her. She kept me in contact with my cousins, my uncle and even my dad and that made me happy. I thank her for always having a father figure around me... my God dad Larry, my step dad Pee Wee and all my bonus uncles. Until this day that's who she called to always tell on me. They play a big role in how I became a man and how I was a Big Brother even though our age difference wasn't big. It felt good because honestly, I didn't miss nothing growing up as a child.

Growing up with my brothers, there wasn't a time when it wasn't fun. I remember going to Fun Spot with my mom, my stepdad and my brothers it was the funniest trip ever, if you know you know lol. Grandma Kat was always lying telling stories, and the twins believed her but I didn't. The love she showed us was genuine and I love her for that. Not only was I the only one still in private school but she had the nerve to get pregnant but I ain't gonna lie I was happy even though we wanted a sister we got butt butt. Then she had him August 1st two days before my birthday which it really wasn't my birthday anymore that's why that's my main man for real. My momma had me in private school until 10th grade but it was cool because I was with my main man Kareem. Going to Carol City was a breeze I had honors classes and to be honest it was easy because my mom had me  a tutor since kindergarten. COVID hit and I got a lil taller, my mustache was coming in and now I gotta be home with my brothers and a baby, a crying baby at that. I guess that's when the man in me came out because me and my brothers helped with everything in the house. Instantly we just knew. In the midst of me and my brothers being home, trying to do work, classes and take care of Mai'son I failed all my classes my 11th grade year. I was so discouraged but my momma didn't play with me. All I wanted was to make her proud she came up with a plan and I stuck to it and I got my momma that diploma. I don't know how I was so talented; I'm mad I didn't take drawing seriously. I could do almost everything: Change my tire, change the oil in my car and everything my mom ordered I put it together. I guess that's how I became the man of the house. I know everybody thought I was a pretty boy and liked to dress but that was all my momma. If you know me and my brothers you knew all we did was dance, especially Mah'kel, winning all them dance contest but its crazy because I thought Chino would tap into his music first but I did. I remember sending out a group chat "y'all tryna go to the studio tonight?" And when I didn't have the money to go to the studio my momma gave it to me. At first it was just me but when Chino got on and then Brandon came, I knew we had something. I started making music and that's what I really really wanted to do .I always wanted to be a fighter fire since I was my little brother's age and I tried and passed everything but I never got picked up from the Academy and I was tired man that junk was hard.

My first job was KFC when I was in the 12th grade then I started working at Publix my mom was so happy she did not want me to quit that job. To be honest that's what kept me out of trouble. My momma used to always say "all right Mah'ki you can't be 21 working in no fast food place' I even filled out an application to be a correction officer I passed everything too but I couldn't do it. My mom started taking me and my brothers to church again with my grandma Denise it was hard to connect at first a little bit. But every question I asked my mom and my grandma Denise ....her aggravating butt! They explained it to me and eventually I found my relationship with God. I think watching them get closer to God made me want to also. I done even prayed for some of my homeboys.  I was lucky because once I graduated all my mom wanted me to do was keep my job, do my chores and pick my brothers up from school and I was good. Christmas was the best holiday in our house and since we was born my momma went all out. Anybody who know her know that was her favorite holiday. Christmas 2022 was the best Christmas ever I was wondering why she was going all out. Black Christmas tree, black pajamas …black everything! I was 19 and I wasn't expecting nothing for Christmas, and it was cool because me and my brothers was okay seeing Mai'son opening up his toys and playing with them. I still can't believe she bought me a car and I didn't have a clue I didn't cry that much since I was a kid. Everybody knew about me, right after i got my car i got my job working for the county. Now I'm lit the first one out of all my dawgs who got a car, no more Ubers. Me and my brothers was in the studio every weekend we tried to get Kel in but y'all know Kel that's Mr. TikTok man. I used to be so excited to go to work, I used to be calling everybody while I was at work especially my Mama and I know I was aggravating picking on her clients. I think that's where I get it from, I've seen her work 20 years doing the same job, happy. I was working so hard to pay for the studio because I really wanted to do this music thing I wanted to make it for my mom and my brothers. If I wasn't working, I was with my brothers. I'm glad my momma made me take Mai'son to school because that's how we formed our bond. I love getting off of work and going to pick up Mai'son.

My brothers left for college and I ain't know what I was going to do. I'm glad I wrote both my brothers a long message telling them I love them, how proud I was of them and reminding them to stick to their goals. I was sad to leave them but I was happy because I still had Mai'son and my mom. Me and my mom was just moving into a new place, we was just talking about me getting a new car to match my new cartier watch. I saved all my money for that, I called my step daddy as soon as I got it. I wish I had more time to say goodbye but don't be sad I know y'all gonna miss me especially Mai'son I'm glad we have fun together one more time my boy was fresh to. He's so brave and so smart and Imma forever watch over him. My auntie's got a break now 'cause I know I beg too much. To my mom I hope I made you proud, everybody know you is my favorite and to my dad it's never too late to make things right thank you for the time and moments that we shared. And to my brother Chino you gotta do it for me, you're a superstar and when you rap don't forget to mention my name every time. Kel just know every time I see you on the TV, Imma be smiling and laughing at you. And to my friends the sweepers y'all look out for my momma. To my family, now I'm y'all personal Angel until we meet again.
