Mary Ann Scott was born on June 2, 1958, in Miami, Florida, to the late Henry Roy Scott Sr. and Ossie Mae Dixon. In 1974, Mary Ann Scott and Rennie Blatch, Sr. were joined in holy matrimony. Shortly thereafter, she graduated from Edison Sr. High School, Class of 1975.Mary embraced Christ at a young age and devoted her life to serving others with the compassion and love of God. As an active and faithful member of World Deliverance Missionary Evangelistic Center (WDMEC), under the leadership of Apostle Arthur and Cynthia White, Mary was honored to become an Evangelist. Her angelic voice and heartfelt worship were a testament to her deep faith and love of the Word.Her career pursuit continued as she earned diplomas and licenses from the IBM Business Institute and School of Cosmetology. She thrived in the beauty industry as the owner of her own salon at the Atrium in Miami, where her talent and dedication left a lasting impact. Her versatility extended beyond beauty; Mary was a skilled tailor, a fashion model, and an active supporter of the NAACP.Later, Mary transitioned to a successful career in Accounting and Office Administration, contributing her talents to prestigious companies such as Ryder Transportation, Adecco USA, and Jackson Memorial Hospital's Records Department.Mary's warm and welcoming nature endeared her to everyone she met. Her contagious smile and affection made everyone feel like family. Everyone was her "snickerdoodle." Mary spread joy, love, and friendship wherever she went, embodying the spirit of kindness and generosity.In 1985, Mary and Rennie, Sr. separated, and she was later remarried to Maurice Haynes, Jr. in January 1991. Together, they moved to West Palm Beach in 2016 to attend Christ The Solid Rock Ministry under the leadership of her son, Pastor Rennie Blatch, Jr. The two eventually relocated to Illinois, seeking new opportunities until the passing of her late husband in 2023.
