Renae Lynette
Yacinthe
Jul 25, 1953 — Mar 3, 2025
Reflections of a Beautiful Soul
Our beloved Renae Lynette Yacinthe, affectionately known as Mama Nae and Auntie
Nae was the fourth born to the late Curtis Lee Young Sr. and Louise Elizabeth Young,
on July 25, 1953, in Miami, Florida.
Renae was educated by the Miami Dade County Public School System, where she graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School. She later earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Nutrition from Miami Dade College. Renae's strong work ethic became evident at a young age. She began working at Mount Sinai Medical Center at the age of 19, where she provided great service and laughter to those she encountered. Renae retired as a Unit Secretary after 43 years.
From childhood, the love of Christ was deeply rooted in Renae's heart and remained
with her throughout her life. Renae was dedicated to Christ at St. John Missionary
Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Thedford Johnson Sr. and remained under
his leadership when he became the pastor of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church.
Renae later became a member of Peaceful Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the
leadership of Rev. Dr. C.P. Preston Jr.
If you knew Renae, one thing you knew is she loved to dance, and more importantly,
she loved and cherished her family deeply.
