Ronnie Reginald McKnight was born April 10, 1950, in Lake City, South Carolina to Ruby McKnight
Hill and Robinson Nesmith (preceded in death)

Education / Employment
Ronnie attended Carver Elementary, J. Paul Middle and Lake City Senior High School until he moved
to Miami, Florida where he continued his education at Miami Central Senior High "Rocket Pride."
After high school, Ronnie enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the military for 20 years
from 1977 through 1997 and retired as Staff Sergeant. During his tenure, his Military Occupational
Specialty was Communications. He was a Certified Trainer/Instructor and received many awards,
achievements and commendation medals for his exemplary work. He also served in Desert
Shield/Desert Storm in 1991.

His Life Highlights
One of Ronnie greatest accomplishments was dedicating his life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As a hobby, Ronnie enjoyed playing dominos and the Skip-Bo card game with his mother, sister, aunts
and cousins. He also enjoyed sports, especially watching his favorite team, the LA Rams. Let not
forget about crabs... Ronnie loved to eat crabs. There are so many good memories of Ronnie, far too
many to mention. Each of these memories will linger in the hearts of those who loved him.
