Roystan Oswald Marshall, also known as Kevin or "Ackeebud" was born at Chapelton
Hospital in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, to his late parents, Cynthia Johnson and
Hubert Marshall. He was the second in the family.
Roystan attended Chapelton All-Age School from 1981 to 1987 and later attended Clendon College from 1987 to 1992. From 1992 to 1993, he proudly served in the Jamaican Defense Forces before immigrating to the United States. In 1997, he joined the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge due to his health issues on July 11, 2003. Roystan later attended Miami-Dade Community College from August 2004 to 2007.
He received numerous medals while he served this country. After Roystan retired from the Army, he became a manager at Walgreens Pharmacy. And then he became employed with the United States Postal Service.
