Ruby D Snell known as "SALLY" was born on June 9, 1949 in Uvalda GA to Ruby Pearl Gray and Charlie Gray. Ruby relocated to South FL when she was 9 years old and made Miami her new home. Ruby graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1968. Ruby had a total of four amazing children Rafael Gray (Son), Devan Parrish-Williams (Daughter), David Parrish (Son) and William Jones (Son). Ruby gave her life to Christ at a young age. She was baptized and raised at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, FL., under the leadership of the late Reverend Douglas Cook. Ruby found a new church home named Peaceful Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend C.P. Preston Jr. (Senior Pastor) and Rev. Clinton J. Preston, Sr. Ruby worked in the church but specifically as a member of the Pastor's Aide Board. Ruby was a faithful member for more than 13 years, until her passing. Professionally, Ruby worked at Miami Dade Community College as Head Security, Miami Heart Hospital in the Surgery Department and Mount Sinai Medical Center where she retired after 20 years of dedicated service.Ruby was full of life, a woman of many gifts and talents. Ruby had a heart of gold and a colorful personality. Ruby always had an open door policy and anyone who entered her home was automatically considered as family. Ruby was a wise woman full of wisdom and knowledge. On September 2, 2024, Ruby D Snell "SALLY" gained her wings.
