In Loving Memory of Russell Ryals, Jr.
Russell Ryals, Jr. was born on November 15, 1951, in Opa-locka, Florida, to the late Russell
Ryals, Sr. and Louis Ryals. Raised alongside his four siblings, Russell spent his life deeply rooted in the South Florida community he loved.

He received his formal education through the Dade County Public School System and proudly
graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School as a member of the Class of 1969. Raised in a Christian home, Russell accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater New
Bethel Baptist Church at the age of twelve.

Russell was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to family, and unwavering loyalty to
those he loved. For more than twenty years, he served as an Area Superintendent with Coastal
Construction, earning the respect of colleagues through his leadership, craftsmanship, and
commitment to excellence.

A man of service and brotherhood, Russell became a member of Israel Lodge #55 in 1997,
where he faithfully served as a Junior Deacon. His involvement reflected his commitment to
community, fellowship, and helping others.

To know Russell was to know his love for South Florida, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins.
Through every season, he remained a faithful fan, cheering on his team with the same loyalty
and passion he showed his family and friends. Today, as we celebrate his life, we remember a
man whose spirit never wavered, who stood by those he loved, and who always believed in
staying faithful through life's victories and challenges alike.

Russell Ryals, Jr. passed away on June 15, 2026.
