Sabrina R. Douglas, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 61. Though her time with us was far too short, Sabrina lived a life full of love, joy, and dedication to those around her.Born and raised in the vibrant community of Dade County, Sabrina was a product of public schools, attending North County Elementary, Parkway Middle, and American Senior High School. She later earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Keiser University, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in public service.She began her professional journey at Miami-Dade Community College, where she spent eight years before becoming a cherished member of the Miami-Dade County School Board for over 17 years. Sabrina was a true servant leader, known for her unwavering commitment to her colleagues. Even in her later years, when health challenges arose, her colleagues often sought her guidance and comfort, visiting her at home, demonstrating the deep bonds she had formed throughout her career.Her life was enriched by two marriages, first to Victor Randy Nichols, and later to Hollis Douglas Jr., with whom she shared many happy years.Sabrina's devotion extended beyond her professional life. For over 35 years, she was a dedicated member of the House of God Church, Keith Dominion-New Liberty City. She served as a Trial Deaconess, bringing her creativity and vivacious spirit to her roles as a youth leader, Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School organizer, and youth choir director. In her later years, she continued to serve as a supportive and organized administrator, contributing to the life of the church with unwavering faith.Family was at the center of Sabrina's life. She was the heart of her family, always there when they needed her most, offering her time, talents, and love without hesitation. As a mother, she was devoted to her children, treasuring every moment with them and embracing her role as a reliable parent volunteer. Her greatest joy came from being a Nana, living each day to spend time with her beloved grandchildren.Sabrina was also a cherished friend, known for her kind listening ear and infectious laughter. Her warm and inviting personality made everyone around her feel safe and welcomed
