Sandy
Fenelus
Jul 28, 1985 — Apr 5, 2025
Sandy Fenelus, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, departed this life on April 5, 2025, at the age of 39. She was born on July 28, 1985, in Les Cayes, Haiti, to Adeline Exantus (now deceased) and Ernest Joseph. Raised in North Miami, she made her home in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Sandy was a woman of strength, style, and compassion. She attended North Miami High School and earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Miami Dade College. She was the proud owner of R&S 5-Star Catering, where her gift for cooking touched countless lives. She was the founder of Unapologetically Her, a women's empowerment ministry, and the author of Still Standing While Fighting to Survive.
She loved to pray and was a passionate intercessor. And when it was time to celebrate life, she loved to dance—especially to Kompa, a vibrant reflection of her Haitian roots and joyful spirit.
A devoted mother above all, Sandy poured her heart into her children and loved deeply. She was a faithful member of Bread of Life Community Church, serving alongside her First Lady and friend wherever she was needed.
She will forever be remembered for her radiant smile, unforgettable laugh, and bold sense of style, and the way she made others feel seen and loved.
