Shakeria Denise
Williams
Nov 15, 2005 — Jun 1, 2024
Shakeria Denise Williams, affectionately known as Shay-Shay, was abruptly taken away on June 1, 2024, in her hometown of Miami, Florida, at the tender age of eighteen. Born to Gary and Matilda Williams on November 15, 2005, in Miami, Florida, Shay-Shay was a beacon of joy from her earliest days. Growing up as a child, Shakeria was raised by her grandmother, Lawanda Owens. She attended Holmes Elementary and Brownsville Middle School, where she ran track. She continued her high school education in Georgia with her mother. Returning to Florida as a young adult, she spent her last years with her father, her grandmother Shirley, her brother Trayvon, her sister Garionna, and her auntie Quantell. She went on to start her career as a security guard. Shay-Shay was a free spirit. She was known for her bright personality and her unique ability to illuminate people. Her funny and over-the-top personality made everyone around her smile, without a doubt! She loved getting dolled up and occasionally did hair installations. Her hobbies were partying, singing, and dancing. Though she had such a giving and humble heart, she was zealous, confident, and headstrong about her values, family, and friends. She was determined and never backed down from a challenge. She's left behind a legacy of kindness and a profound love for those who were dear to her heart.
