Tasha Angela Horne was born January 30, 1976 in Miami Florida. Her Son Lamont Powell Jr preceded her in death.

Tasha attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School. She was employed with LSF Trolleys & Waste Pro Management. Tasha was the life of the party, when she walked into the room she always made her presence known. She lived the life she loved and loved the life she lived.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter, they were like two peas in a pod. They had a strong bond that no one could ever come between. Tasha was the type of person that was always willing to help others. Tasha made sure everyone around her was always cracking a smile, rather it was to her funny jokes or to one of the silly stories she told. Tasha took pride in her work as a truck operator. She also was a Trainer and everyday she would come home talking about how much she loved doing what she did.

On February 5, 2025, Tasha Angela Horne departed this life.
