Tasha
Taylor
Dec 2, 1971 — Mar 8, 2024
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn... Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2 and 4
A Time to be Born
Tasha Tarvette Simmons-Taylor blessed the world when she was born on December 2, 1971, at Jackson Memorial Hospital to the parents of Melody A. Young and Leroy Simmons. From birth, Tasha was a "natural" and a true fighter with a giving heart, sense of humor, and a smile that would brighten any room.
A Time to Grow
Tasha received her education through the Miami-Dade County Public School system. While in high school, she participated in the track and field program and graduated in the class of 1989. With her vibrant personality and love for others, Tasha began a career in store management, and she thrived over the years.
A Time to Remember and Depart
Tasha's personality, smile, big heart, and love for others will always be remembered.
On March 8, 2024, the Father looked upon his Garden here on earth, with all that had been taking place, and saw fit to pluck from His garden. "Tasha", say thy good and faithful servant, it is time to come up into My bosom and take your final rest. For your days of Labor are no more. It was on that day Tasha answered the Lord's call and closed her eyes in a familiar space.
There are many sorrowful relatives and friends who mourn the loss of Tasha but cherish all the memories and everlasting memories she left. Tasha leaves her husband Arthur Taylor; daughters Tasshay Williams and Jashia Drayton; two grandchildren, Chance Fisher and Kaylor Williams., mother, Melody Young, brother Eric Simmons; four aunts Tangela Brown, Belinda Williams-Simmons, Suzette Moulton, Mariel Grant; Uncle Calvin Young and a host of loving relatives and friends.
