Ta'Shondra Endia
Steward
Oct 28, 1999 — Dec 20, 2023
Ta'Shondra Endia Steward was born in Miami, Florida on October 28, 1999, to Deshawn Smith and Antonio Steward, and she was her mom's first-born child. Ta'Shondra, or "Tootie" as she was affectionately called, received her education through Miami-Dade County Public Schools attending Westview K through 8, then on to William H. Turner Technical Arts High School, also known as "Turner Tech," where she excelled in her studies, especially those related to the medical field. Since Turner Tech did not have a sports program, Ta'Shondra participated on the cheerleading squad of Miami Central Senior High. She loved to cheer and was good at it. She later graduated from William H. Turner Technical Arts High School in the class of 2019.
After graduation, Ta'Shondra enrolled in Lindsey Hopkins in search of a degree in the medical field. After a short while, she entered the workforce and began working for the United States Postal Service as a Mail Clerk. She also worked as a Park Service Aide for Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation, part-time in the afternoon. Ta'Shondra loved kids and took pride in developing activities and field trips for her aftercare students. She loved kids so much that her nieces, nephews, and younger cousins were her pride of joy! She loved to expose them to different things and share new and exciting adventures with them. Most recently, it was important to Ta'Shondra to organize a trip to New York City so she and the family could see the beautiful lights during the Thanksgiving holiday. Ta'Shondra loved to travel and some of her favorite places to visit were Houston, Jamaica, and of course, New York City.
Today, as we remember Ta'Shondra or "Tootie", we remember a beautiful young woman who had an infectious smile, was fashionable, and always dressed to perfection. She was energetic with a great personality, and she loved to hang out and have a good time with her close childhood friends and cousins. To know her was to love her and if you ever met her, you would never forget her. Her memory will linger in our hearts forever.
On December 20, 2023. Ta'Shondra Endia Steward's life's journey was complete. She left an indelible mark on her family and the lives she touched. She will forever be remembered by the love she shared and showed to others. Her family was very important to her, and it was important to get everyone together.
She leaves behind a lifetime of memories for her parents Deshawn Smith and Antonio Steward, siblings: Antiliqwa Fisher, Tonisha Steward, Destiny Steward, Tonique Smith, Santwaun Brinson, Patrice Steward, Antonio Steward, and Brett Steward; grandparents: Kathy (Alvin) Sholtz, Darell Bivins, Patrice and Derrick Evans; aunt Melvia Mack; uncles Tarris Bivins, Xavier Steward, and Kelvin Steward; Godmother Tyresha Smith, and a host of many relatives and sorrowing friends.
