Terry
Mcfadden
Jan 25, 1967 — Jul 22, 2024
On January 25th, 1967, in Miami, Florida, the late Daniel McFadden Sr. and Annie Jean McFadden were given the precious gift of a beautiful baby boy, Terry Demetrius McFadden.
Terry received his education within the walls of Miami Dade County Public School System including Ludlam Elementary, South Miami Jr. and Sr. High Schools. He was employed at Jackson Health Center as the Head Chef for over "25" years.
"Terry", "WillieHead", and sometimes "Demetrius", were some of the names he was affectionately known as. Terry's winning personality and big smile resulted in him having an untold number of friends from all walks of life. He had a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone that knew him. Terry's love for sports at a young age, caused him to be one of the best baseball and football players in the Khoury and Pop Warner Leagues. Terry continued playing football during his middle and high school years.
Growing up on good down-home cooking, Terry's passion in the kitchen led him to pursue a career in the Culinary Arts preparing meals for, not only patients at the hospital, but catering jobs in his spare time. His motto was, "it's all about the presentation." His second love was singing. Terry walked the halls at work and graced wherever he went singing rhythm and blues (R & B), Down Home Blues, and sometimes Gospel with his rich, baritone voice. Terry's voice could be defined as the "grown-up romantic.
In 2014, Terry became a member of the Most Worshipful Cypress Grand Lodge, in Miami, Florida. He enjoyed being a Mason and was proud to receive a certificate for his commitment and faithfulness to the strengthening and growth of "Sons of King James #7".
In spite his untimely demise, God plucked an Angel from His garden. On Monday afternoon, July 22nd, Terry was called home to rest.
