Walter Woods was born on August 21, 1956 in Miami, Florida. He was born to Cornelius Woods and Effie Lane and later raised by his mother and step-father Watson Thompson.As a young boy, Walter was active in the church and was baptised in the Methodist faith.Walter began his education at Douglas Elementary and later attended Booker T. Washington and Miami Senior High School. After completing his education, Walter pursued a career as a Production Engineer, where he excelled professionally until his health began to fail. Walter will be remembered for his love of his family and his unwavering strength during challenging times. His kindness, warmth, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.On August 11, 2024, the Lord called Walter Woods home.
