Wilbur Daniel Boykin was born in Miami, Florida, on August 23, 1979, to Wilbur Sr. and Nathalee Boykin. He was the firstborn child. Wilbur was affectionately known as "Snook and Will." His baby brother referred to him as Lukie.Wilbur was educated through the Miami-Dade County Public Schools by attending William Turner Technical School, where he obtained his diploma in 1996.  After graduating high school, he felt a great responsibility to enter the United States Armed Forces (Army).  Upon completing a four-year tour of duty, He attended Broward College, majoring in Business.  Wilbur became an entrepreneur, owning a trucking company and Da'Daiquiri Trap/Da'Crab Shack. His favorite at the Trap was "Da'Gangsta".

Wilbur was a beacon of generosity and compassion, embodying the belief that everyone deserves a second chance. His life was a testament to the power of forgiveness and the potential for redemption. No matter the mistake, Wilbur never hesitated to offer a helping hand, always seeing the good in people and encouraging them to rise above their past. His unwavering support and kindness touched countless lives, providing hope and a path to a better future for those who had faltered. Wilbur's legacy is one of love and understanding, a reminder that true generosity lies in allowing others to grow and change.Wilbur's life was a shining example of unwavering devotion and love for his family. His every action was guided by a deep and abiding affection for his loved ones, and there was honestly nothing he wouldn't do for them. Whether offering a shoulder to lean on, providing wise counsel, or simply being there in need, Wilbur's family always came first.

His selflessness and dedication knew no bounds, and he took immense joy in their happiness and success. His nieces and nephews loved their uncle "Will". Wilbur's legacy is etched in the countless moments of love and support he bestowed upon his family, a testament to a life lived with boundless love and unshakable commitment.Wilbur was a God-fearing man who loved God with all his heart. He was a member of El Bethel. Even though he lived in Texas, he attended services virtually.  Wilbur knew he needed the Lord to be his guide. He loved attending theatrical performances, fishing, and dining out. Wilbur's favorite dish was seafood.  Today, as we think of Wilbur as an intense, dedicated, determined workaholic who would spoil his only son to a fault, we will remember the caring man he personified.On Thursday morning, May 16, 2024, Wilbur answered the call to rest from his labor, leaving the cares of this world behind.
