Willie Lee Allen, Sr., was born May 8, 1954, in Miami, Florida to the late James L. Allen and Willie P. Allen.

He received his education through Miami-Dade County Public Schools, attending Poinciana Park, Dorsey Jr. High School, and Miami Northwestern Senior High School. After attending high school, Willie joined the United States Army. Following the completion of his service, Willie transitioned into a career as a brick mason.

Willie, also known as "Big Will," was a dedicated family man who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from the excitement of betting on the dogs at the Jai-Alai to quality time with family and friends.

Willie was truly the pillar of his family, defined by his loving nature, boundless generosity, and infectious sense of humor. His memories will live on in our hearts of those who knew him.

On June 10, 2026, Willie passed away peacefully when he heard the voice of the Lord say, "Well done, you may take your rest now."
